Product number:

Composed of HMWPE fibres (High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and protected by a unique self-impregnation that increases abrasion resistance, D-Tech synthetic rope has a very high breaking load resistance.

The 12 strands construction prevents kinking, it is stronger than a steel wire rope of the same weight, which gives it significant advantages in many applications (see main uses below).

Features:

  • Low elongation
  • Low operating cost
  • Flexible : do not make knots
  • Safe and easy to handle
  • Easy to splice
  • Rotation resistant

Specific gravity : 0,98

Melting point : 150° C

Elongation in % of the breaking load :

  • 25 % … 0,9 %
  • 50 % … 1,6 %

Main uses:

  • Mooring lines
  • Anchor lines
  • Winch
  • Towing and hauling lines
  • Material: HMWPE fibres
