Magnetic Rope Testing for the mountain sector
The MRT is an effective method for installations located in mountainous areas
Our service falls into two specific areas: the supply and installation of magneto-inductive control devices set up in permanent mode (LF & LMA Technology) to monitor the real-time condition of the tractor wire rope, and spot mode magneto-inductive control services to periodically monitor the conservation status of a wire rope (both tractor and carrier wire rope).
The implementation of a permanent MRT system is accompanied by a joint pre-study with the user or manufacturer of the installation to verify feasibility, establish physical placement, and data transmission modes.
A Spot operation is carried out by MRT technicians on-site to perform the controls.
In both cases, the control devices have successfully passed certifications meeting the criteria of the EN 12927 standard and are used/installed by qualified and certified technicians according to the ISO 9712 MIT WR Level II standard, a duo of certifications that we consider essential to establish a reliable diagnosis guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of our certificates issued after our controls.
The device positioned in permanent mode incorporates the advantages described in the "Watcher" tab with powerful 24/7 post-processing, establishing a predefined alert threshold allowing real-time alerts through various means (indicators, email, SMS, etc.).
Both systems, one in real-time automatic mode and the other periodically via a technician, will be able to monitor the conservation status of wire ropes and installations to better plan any potential replacement of sections or wire ropes, thereby minimizing installation downtime.
