The Powertex LPW weldable lifting point is a permanent lifting point for welding onto machinery, lifting beams, earth-moving equipment and tools. Its forged D-ring pivots 180° and maintains the same WLL in all permitted loading directions. An integrated spring holds the D-ring against the surface to reduce rattling in vibrating environments.
Best used for
- Permanent lifting points on machinery, equipment, lifting beams and tools.
- Vibrating equipment where reduced D-ring movement and rattling are beneficial.
Product Features:
- 180° pivoting D-ring accommodates loads within the permitted pivot plane.
- Uniform WLL in all allowed directions simplifies load planning.
- Integrated spring holds the D-ring against the surface, reducing rattling.
- Blasted housing provides a prepared surface for professional welding.
- Tested in accordance with EN 1677-1 and AS 3776 requirements.
- Each lifting point is crack-detection tested, and production samples are proof-load tested. The product design is fatigue-tested to 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the WLL.
- The traceability code links components to the production lot and raw materials.
- Full WLL from -40°C to +100°C, with reductions at higher temperatures.
- Features: Weldable, same WLL in all intended load directions (no side-loading)
- Material: Forged Alloy Steel
- Marking: According to standard, CE-marked, UKCA-marked, Powertex, model name, WLL and batch number
- Temperature range: -40 up to +100°C without reduction in WLL
- Finish: Powder painted in PURE RED
- Standard: EN 1677-1, AS 3776
- Note: The LPW is WLL (Working Load Limit) rated, assuming that the correct welding procedure is meticulously followed and executed by a suitably qualified welder, to maintain the product's integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Warning: Side loading of the D-ring is not permitted
