COIL HOOKS

A coil hook is a C-shaped lifting device designed for lifting and handling loads that are generally cylindrical (coils, rolls, tubes, rings). It is suspended under an overhead crane or hoist and inserted into the opening of the load.

Key features:

  • Open C-shape allowing quick, lateral engagement of the load.
  • Designed to respect the centre of gravity and ensure stability during lifting.
  • Typically fitted with protective linings to preserve the surfaces of coils.
